Friday 19 December
  • Please be safe when swimming and err on the side of caution. If in doubt, do not go in the water.
  • This page is provided for informational purposes only!
  • Black arrow is wind direction. Tap an icon for more details on the bay.
  • Wind: assumes that anything less than F2 is OK, and anything greater than F5 is bad. Otherwise, it takes into account bay aspect to determine if it's sheltered. Also assumes there is a point where a bay will stop being sheltered.
  • Bay min / max tides are highly subjective, but the idea is that some bays can only really be swum at specific tides (for example rocky bays aren't nice at really low tide.)
  • Green generally means OK to swim; Red means avoid swimming (due to tide or wind) and orange/amber means good but the wind might be a factor.
